Scratch your lunch plans for Friday, August 5th, in favor of Barbecue. On site, or delivered to your home or work in Wilmington. In fact, order up for your whole office or family. We’re out to help make a difference in one person’s life.. And you get a great lunch to boot!
WHEN: Friday, August 5th, 11am-2pm.
WHAT: it’s a BBQ fundraiser! Buy a plate of BBQ (Roast Pork Shoulder), Red Rosemary Potatoes, Green beans, and baked beans…
All for $7.00/plate. And all proceeds go directly to the benefit. You eat food, and donate to a good cause. Plates will be served at Dempsey’s on 6324 Market St between 11am & 2pm. They’ll even deliver! (more info below)

WHO: This is for Robert Lentz, aka: The Cape Fear Stormtrooper. A local Wilmington staple who dons a Stormtrooper outfit, attends many local events, poses for photos and puts smiles on the faces of kids & adults alike. You’ve probably seen him.
WHY: Financial support for Kidney Transplant recovery.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
1) Come to Dempsey’s, at 6324 Market St. Wilmington, NC. between 11am & 2pm. Get a plate, and sit, or carry out!
2) Call it in! Starting now, you can call #910-581-3625, and place your order for delivery in the Wilmington area on Friday. Or call during 11-2 during the event. Drivers will be standing by! (Minimum 3 plates.) Credit card also accepted.
HOW TO PAY: Don’t wait! Reserve your plate! Whether you’re stopping by, or having it delivered, Pre-payment ensures better prep, smoother operations and faster food to you!
